Private yoga asana instruction helps to prevent injuries by teaching you proper alignment for your body with use of props and physical techniques. Having a private session will boost your confidence in both your personal practice and at your local studio, prevent injuries, and offer a safe space to share personal health issues that we can directly shift through yogic practices. After working together through several sessions, students are better able to grasp how quickly their breath capacity, mental and emotional states shift; which raises energy levels, making students more capable of meeting life's challenges.
Private classes are designed to meet the students needs spiritually, physically, and mentally. My classes are more than a simple surya namaskar- these are experiences that profoundly shift your energy levels at the cellular level. Sessions include Tantric & Vedantic breathwork and meditation techniques, yoga asana, and kriyas curated for you based on your needs or inquiries. For beginners and people looking to develop more self awareness, we always begin with iyengar-style alignment in yoga therapy, in which I teach my students how to use props for each asana, ensuring safety and health in yoga asana. For those looking to lose weight, we will do several physical exercises along with a self discovery of how to isolate and use the relevant muscles for each asana, along with fired up breathwork and kriyas, which help to eliminate excess weight by releasing toxins stored in the fat. As well, I share kriyas, breathwork, and asana sequences to relax the mind while calming the nervous system from excess fear or anxiety. Through the integration of each of the yogic systems I have studied, together we can realign your energetic body so that you can experience life to its fullest potential. Whether you can't sleep at night, your digestive system is blocked, or you are having trouble focusing at work, there is certainly a technique available to help with your needs.
Learn to really experience your body by properly practicing each asana according to your body type. Shift and release stored emotions or unhealthy thought patterns by mastering your breath and vibrational field through the practice of Kriya, Pranayama, and Meditation. My background is in Yoga Therapy, Iyengar Yoga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Kundalini, Tantra, and Kriya Yoga, which means I use props, radical alignment, breathwork & Kriyas to empower you to experience your body, breath, and being from the inside, out.
It takes 40 days of practice for the body to create and sustain new habit patterns. This is why I have created the one on one package offering 10 days of intensive study with me, then four weeks of self study (sadhana, in sanskrit) along with four weekly one on one sessions to check in with your progress and create space for any emotional, physical, mental, or spiritual experiences that may arise during your practice.
